Is there any difference in efficiency between training "all-rounder" and alternating between training batting and bowling?
Training on "all-rounder" for two weeks in a row gives more batting and bowling training combined than "batting" for one week and "bowling" for one week.
The former does give slightly less technique than the latter, and the same amount of endurance.

Just keep training bowling and bowling tech, at best he will be accomplished/accomplished with dreadful power low experience and he’s a medium so I don’t like your chances of getting much on the market.

To make decent money on 21yo’s you need them to get to at least Expert primary’s with minimum capable fielding and decent fitness and power depending on the type of player
The only ones I have seen go for big money are outstanding or better with reliable fielding
Your training plan is probably fine, you just need players with higher starting stats
Hope this helps

Keeping, technique, endurance, batting, fielding and power will all contribute to a good wicket keeper.
Bowling is the only skill that doesnt compliment a keeper.

Where can I find info on fielding being a benefit to wicket keepers?
As far as fielding checks in the match engine go it doesn't appear to be an influence.
I've always accepted that it is but can't find anything to suggest or confirm it in the game manual other than to say it is not nearly as important as wicket keeping.

Exactly why I'm asking.
I've read the manual but can't find any more info other than fielding is of some importance to your wicketkeeper, although not nearly as important as their keeping skill.
