Depends. If you're only planning to use him in the lower leagues then feel free to train him as an A/R. However (assuming he's not close to a bowling pop) you'd really need to concentrate on training bowling if you want to use him in the higher leagues. As a medium pacer with no talent he'd need to be high skilled to perform in the higher leagues so you'd have to sacrifice getting his batting higher.

Either way - I'd spend the best part of this season getting his fielding up to Expert/Outstanding level. Then you can concentrate on A/R or Bowling until 25 depending on the above, then mainly strength after that.

He just popped outstanding batting and i have no idea when his technique popped as i bought him end of last season with already outstanding technique. Is it worth working towards another fielding pop at this point or should i try for worldclass batting? I don't think its a good idea to work towards worldclass batting because then his power will be lacking and he will be almost 28 by that time with spectacular endurance.
Or just get exceptional primaries and then pure strength training?
My senior academy level is superior and i intend to upgrade it upto luxurious by the end of this season.
If I had him I'd probably go for this:

Fielding to Outstanding
Bat/BT to Exceptional
Strength

Depending on how quick he pops in Fielding you could even try for Spectacular fielding before hammering batting for a couple of seasons.

capable or reliable? Reasonable popped today, academy lvl is deluxe. I am planning reliable as his technique might pop in the way too as he has gifted technique talent and then batting all the way.
I'd give him another quick fielding pop now and also hope for a quick endurance pop. The push tech and batting. He may need abit of fitness training around 19

Ok so i would stop at capable field, another question:
Should i try to push outstanding primaries or stop at expert and then fitness/strength? I really don't like putting my youth's to fitness training even at 19, it just feels like wasting potential as those train too slow for youth players.
Yeah training fitness isn't ideal and I'm not a big fan of it either but it can help them perform better and score higher. he would probably be atleast ordinary start of 19. Most U19s teams want average as a minimum normally.
Saying that I had one of my guys playing his season and he had ordinary but scored 4 50s in 6 innings. Was primary strong but he couldn't push those 50s past 60 odd. Take of that what you will I guess

best training for this guy?
Depends on your academy. Superior or higher you could make him a useful keeper-bat for youths. Anything lower might as well fire or sell, because he won't be good enough.
