Domestic Games Discussion

Post by CoachKnapovic » Fri Oct 03, 2025 2:48 pm

Thought I would get one of these going again!

What is everyone's aims for the season ahead? How did you get on today?

Ireland Lions won by 2 wickets
O. Johnston (rf) 9.3-0-38-1, I. van Zandt 4 (3b), M. Maher 8 (13b)
End of over 49 (4 runs) - Ireland Lions(225-8) RR 4.59

It was a real nail biter for my lot against a manager I have developed a very friendly rivalry with.

Notable performances were Birch who nearly got us home with 96. Nobody else really contributed hugely to the batting other than Kretiuk (33) and Rankin (30) who might start becoming classed as an all-rounder.

3-38 for all-rounder Shane Watson and 3-43 for Ud-Din who will probably leave the club in a few weeks time for retirement.

Easy win in the cup and through to round 2. We are not seeded this season so it will be a difficult game every week.

Ireland Lions won by 9 wickets
End of over 19 (8 runs) - Ireland Lions(96-1) RR 5.05
D. Knape 31 (44b), B. O'Regan 39 (61b), D. Jadavani (rm) 4.3-1-22-0

A good chance to get the younger lads some game time too.
