Good summary, Moose. I think we can consider ourselves lucky with two points.

G. Khatib (lm) 4-0-30-1, J. Graham 36 (35b), R. Knox 4 (1b)
End of over 16 (7 runs) - Scotland U20(102-4) RR 6.38
Think we'll struggle getting 130 here so need Graham out already really

Scotland U20 won by 4 runs
T. Govan (lm) 4-1-22-0, M. Murat 3 (2b), K. Sad 27 (20b)
End of over 20 (6 runs) - UAE U20(139-4). 5 runs required from 0 overs. RR 6.95 RRR 0.00
Did all the hard work, but in good UAE fashion, faltered at the last hurdle.

Re: UAE U20 - News & Discussion
Too little, too late in the run chase. The batsmen left themselves with a lot to do and couldn’t get it done. 27 runs required off the last and got 16 of them in the second last over before Temiz got out and swung the momentum back to Scotland. Could only manage 6 runs in the final over.
Tour Match # 2
VS Scotland
Result:
Scotland win by 4 runs.
Crowd: 26,060
Weather: Humid
Pitch: Slow
The Match in a Tweet: At this level you really have to take all your chances when they come. UAE dropped two chances and missed a stumping opportunity.
Man of the Match: Jonathon Graham (Scotland)
Made almost half of Scotland’s runs!
Our best:
Faraz Temiz - 67 runs from the opener including 7 fours and a six! Will be kicking himself that he couldn’t see out the chase.
Isra’il Kaleel - 2/22 off the mediums 4 overs.
Kadar Sad - 2 catches with the gloves and then an unbeaten 27. We won’t mention the missed stumping opportunity again.
Around the Grounds:
Sri Lanka beat Netherlands by 7 wickets.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first on a Green Pitch on a Humid Day.
Netherlands made 149 4 down.
Sri Lanka chased it down with 7 wickets and 4 balls to spare.
Zimbabwe beat USA by 35 runs.
USA won the toss and elected to bowl first on a Dry Pitch on a Humid Day.
Zimbabwe made 175 5 down.
Scotland chased it down with 6 wickets in hand.
USA were bowled out for 140 in reply.
Tune in at 0900 tomorrow as we take on Sri Lanka.

End of over 20 (5 runs) - Sri Lanka U20(130-3) RR 6.50
As per usual, two dropped catches cost us 67 runs today. I think they scored about par, but who knows with the UAE.

UAE U20 won by 6 wickets
P. Aponso (rfm) 4-0-33-0, M. Murat 5 (6b), W. Suhail 35 (18b)
End of over 19 (5 runs) - UAE U20(131-4) RR 6.89
Fattah and Kamal set up a solid platform for us to control this chase. We got some luck back with the fielding too, however our ratings were superior there.

End of over 20 (11 runs) - Netherlands U20(140-6) RR 7.00
I have no idea how a 3.4k batsman scored 68*, but I think it will be enough to get them their first win. The Dutch bowlers look strong and we'll find it tough to chase down.

R. Buddingh (rfs) 1-0-9-0, K. Sad 15 (14b), J. Habib 5 (6b)
End of over 10 (9 runs) - UAE U20(53-4). 88 runs required from 10 overs. RR 5.30 RRR 8.80
Frustrating chase. We'll need to take apart their spinners.

S. Flens (rws) 3-0-23-3, M. Murat 1 (4b), T. Ghafur 0 (0b)
End of over 16 (2 runs) - UAE U20(103-7). 38 runs required from 4 overs. RR 6.44 RRR 9.50
And that's game. So disappointing to see our spinners put to the cleaners, and their spinners win them the game.
