Re: England League and Cup Discussion
That's the worst fielding I've seen from us for a long time. It's more than I'd have liked to have been chasing. 120 and I've have been confident, 150 and I've have been reasonably confident but knowing a collapse could kill my chances, and 180ish I'd say is slightly in your favour but not impossible for us to chase. It could be very interesting!

End of over 28 (3 runs) - Ruff Royals(100-4). 84 runs required from 22 overs. RR 3.57 RRR 3.82
We were looking quite good for a little while but now Liberatore and Issa are gone I'm expecting a fairly big collapse.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
really should have lost by a lot more if it wasn't for the fielding catastrophe Ruff Royals had, but very disappointing to not see it out from 117/7 still needing 67 to win in these conditions
result: lost by 2 wickets

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
I'm astonished that we won from that position and on that pitch too. Roberson only has ordinary batting skill so was very surprised he lasted that long. Perry has put in some decent batting performances recently so 43 not out wasn't out of the question but considering how my proper batsmen did I certainly wasn't expecting it.eagles123 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 2:14 pmreally should have lost by a lot more if it wasn't for the fielding catastrophe Ruff Royals had, but very disappointing to not see it out from 117/7 still needing 67 to win in these conditions

It turned out to be a very handy win in what could prove to be a very tough season in division 1.

Very nearly suffered a shock loss after my Keeper dropped 3 catches and missed a run out in the final 10 overs. However a late collapse of 4 wickets for 6 runs saved me. Still in the relegation area, but two wins on the bounce have given me a chance of surviving.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
I accidentally left my first team to play in the MKMC which is going to be very problematic for the coming week. 9 players on passable or worse!

We dropped Harden when he was on about 5 and he went on to make 94 not out so that was quite an expensive drop! We were slightly outclassed yesterday!

We did okayish for the bowling although a couple of players were a bit expensive. The batting wasn't great with the exception of Paton 54 not out and Clarke who hit 33. Everyone else didn't get into double figures.
We're still in the relegation zone and my players are a bit knackered.
