Probably a dumb question and possibly answered previously, but,

When selling or buying a player before training updates, do they lose that week of training or does it just carry over when they join the new team?

They get the same training as everyone else in their new team when the training update happens. It isn't gradual through the week.

i don't track it regularly but it feels like there is more numbers today then there was not long ago, as i said, i don't know for sure but i feel like the number of ranked teams today ( 1644) seems like a good 200 ish higher then last time i looked god knows when

is the school of thought to still wait for 2048 teams to be there before increasing the cup 1 round ?

i will say, i've always been on the side of including every team even if it means a round of bot bashing for most but given we're getting to the point where upwards of 40+% of the active teams could be missing the cup next season, i think its even more worthy of a discussion now

We are looking at ways to inc all teams but I am fairly sure it won't be by filling it with bots
As far as I am concerned a prestigious tournament should never include bots

if its not including bots, it would have to be first round byes, wouldn't it ? what other way is there ?

something like if 1644 teams

then 1240 teams would play Rd 1 and then top ranked 404 would get a bye




like you, i'd personally prefer to fill it with bots but understand why the team wouldn't and do think first round byes are a good compromise to get everyone in

Both, to me my option makes sense as everyone gets a game and it worked perfectly before with the seeded teams getting easy games to start with. Yet you're the boss so if you choose another way then fine but still doesn't mean this isn't a sensible option that works.

I suppose I am being a bit selfish as I really just want to stop being penalised for being a homegrown side, as a team who has been ranked outside of 256 but under 512 I've basically just met teams far too highly rated for a first round IMHO, we are talking anything from about 205k to 244k! I think out of the 8 games in the last 4 seasons one was an easy win as it should be then one was around 185k then the rest as above, even then I marched into big rated teams in the second round when I first met those lower rated teams.

Maybe it's just me but I don't think teams ranked about 300 should be meeting teams ranked in the 256 and rating 230k in round one but eh that's just me.

Therefore teams like mine would be getting penalised as both my sides are homegrown and rank within the first 404, yet we really depend on games to get experience. Yes I choose the homegrown way which means I have a squad evenly spaced out between 21 and 31.

Just tired of currently meeting teams rating 230 in the first round and now the next suggestion is I miss out on the first round to no doubt meet highly rated teams in round two.

Being in the top 512, you shouldn't have played those sides and we will correct it
If we go down the route of top X seeds betting a bye, you don't lose a game that you currently play you just don't get the extra one
Also teams will be seeded completely and top seed will play bottom etc
