A. Ten Dam (rfm) 2-0-15-1, O. Harford 12 (9b), L. Cody 0 (0b)
End of over 11 (5 runs) - wolfberries(49-5) RR 4.45

Well that's game over unless specialist finisher Harford can perform magic.

I going to say sticking with Perry was probably a good idea.

E. Perry (rm) 4-1-10-2, O. Harford 1 (3b), R. Fontaine 3 (8b)
End of over 8 (2 runs) - wolfberries(30-3) RR 3.75
I may have to agree with you there!

I don't think it could have gone much better for me really. I'm probably one player short of my strongest batting line-up (although perhaps that's not saying much). It is seriously tough batting conditions so I'm not going to be taking anything for granted.

Two overs and two wickets for one run

Our specialist finisher isn't doing his job!

We are going to end up about forty short of a competitive total.

A. McCutchin (rf) 4-0-16-1, O. Harford 31 (34b), S. Payne 0 (1b)
End of over 20 (5 runs) - wolfberries(86-8) RR 4.30

Well bowled and we are at least forty runs short of a total we could defend.

I had my best bowlers in at the end and they did a great job. 2 balls into our batting and Avila isn't messing around!

End of over 1 (18 runs) - Ruff Royals(18-0). 69 runs required from 19 overs. RR 18.00 RRR 3.63

I'd say that was quite a good first over for my side!

Ruff Royals won by 8 wickets

Close ratings wise but the class was with your players, we couldn't make use of our longer batting line up or break through your top order.

Well done.

I think the bowling ratings are key there and were what won it for my side. We haven't played each other for quite a while and you're probably wishing it was longer than it has been now.

My middle order batting looks like it needs a fair amount of work.

That makes it 2 wins from 2 so I'm happy with that.

Egham Town CC BWB Phoenixs
Batting - Top Order 8,928 10,582
Batting - Middle Order 8,743 9,332
Batting - Tail 4,277 4,118
Bowling - Seam 9,289 (20) 9,926 (8)
Bowling - Spin 0 (0) 9,564 (12)
Fielding/Keeping 10,779 9,110
Overall 162,302 167,885

Egham Town CC won by 3 runs

Overcame a 5k rating deficit to sneak a victory. Largely due to the oppo playing 3 spinners in Cloudy / Green conditions

Off the mark in T20 which feels good

Well done to those who had good starts to the week in both Y & S T20
