Part of the change is to actually help the TM by spreading the love across the entire season instead of just the first week.
That first week will still be busy as that's when people get their prizemoney but hopefully over time it will ease a little

Are birthdays visual yet?

Also is there a place I can see scorecards based on different pitch and weather conditions?
I'm playing a game at the moment and it's a pitch and weather combination for whatever reason I'm uncertain what a good score for my team is.
I can can look at an individual player and see their stats but I'm not sure it I can do the same thing to see scorecards, totals, etc.
This may be better in suggestions.

the only way to see it is in the match page for any given season
There isn't any other way unless someone has some data on it

But are you able to add the all feature so we can look at every season at once?
It is relatively unlikely to have the same conditions more than once a season.

With membership you can

a) view only matches on a club's matches page with a certain pitch or weather type. and
b) you can go onto an individuals stats page and see how they batted on individual pitch or weather types.

Not quite what you were after but perhaps those will help you out a little?

Also on rivalry page if you manipulate the url to have your team number for both, like this for mine

Then sort by pitch and then hold shift and click weather you will see all your games by what you want

So the update is in and all players show an age in years and weeks, but so far its 0wk for all.
Is this going to change later in the weekend?
