In previous seasons I did it manually but this season the game takes over
If we had 2 down in div 2 they would promote back into div 2 anyway with the bot flush
Div 3-4 will have 2 promote but the bot flush will do it
The previous season there was more bots above the human teams so having 4 promote was just covering the bots being flush
This season there is only 8 bots plus the odd extra one

Only asking as I’m a fan of all cricket and played at a very high level in both the outdoor version and indoor cricket and made some very good friendships with male, female and even cricketers with disabilities.
The other day I was going through some old photos and it started my mind ticking.
Has there or will there be any thought given to having a female aspect to the game in the form of a women’s One day and T20 comps and then further along international’s?
Women’s cricket has become so big and popular now, just a thought.

That would be a great idea but should be a separate part of the game, then I can ignore it like I do with the womens game in RL. Yet others might enjoy it.

Why harsh? Women's cricket is separate to the men's game and something I have no interest in following, I'm not saying others shouldn't or can't follow it.Yet I don't want to and wouldn't want this to be Introduced into the game.

I'm certainly not sexist and am certainly a true cricket fan but not a woke cricket fan, yet I wouldn't want an indoor element added to the game either. I'm sure people love indoor cricket but it's to cricket what 5 a side football is to 11 a side, I can't see football manager adding a 5 a side option anytime soon...

Then why not just say, I wouldn’t want it added but maybe some would, the comment about having it separate as so you could ignore it like you do RL women’s cricket was just plain and simple not necessary.
Now that’s out of the way, it was just a suggestion, a thought, every day women’s cricket is becoming more and more popular, not sure where you are based but here in Australia they are now full time professionals and have ACB contracts just as the men do at both National level and state level, and was just simply asking if there had been or will be in the future any thought given to this side of the game, just like I’d love tho see 4 day club cricket one day introduced however given that the week only 7 days long it would be a tough ask to have that one implemented.

I think the best way to incorporate it is more Women's names introduced to the game.

Have it be a mix and than people can do what they wish.

Having 2 separate gender competitions would make it harder to watch, follow, maintain etc

Even potentially having a discounted name change to change it to a female name to encourage the idea

I was under the impression it would be hard to implement given the limited times available to add new sections
But as for the names maybe give managers 1-2 free name changes a season as maybe a membership perk would be a good idea.
