Re: England League and Cup Discussion
C. Moses (rws) 8-0-38-2, C. Hillsz 25 (41b), L. Webster 9 (15b)
End of over 31 (4 runs) - Snakey's Kent Stars(132-5). 70 runs required from 19 overs. RR 4.26 RRR 3.68
Interesting enough but I think it's still looking like we're second favourites. I'm particularly worried about how expenisive my young fast bowler, Roberson, might be.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
Ruff Royals won by 32 runs
Ruff Royals Snakey's Kent Stars
Batting - Top Order 13,158 12,916
Batting - Middle Order 10,148 10,826
Batting - Tail 4,246 4,920
Bowling - Seam 10,445 (30) 12,019 (40)
Bowling - Spin 12,841 (20) 11,165 (10)
Fielding/Keeping 15,464 14,336
Overall 209,371 211,983
Liberatore was our best batsman with a 60 as he opened the batting. There were also crucial late order runs from Perry (24) and Roberson (18) which gave our bowlers something to work with.
A good team performance from our bowlers with Perry taking 3-34 and Callaway 2-13 at an economy of just 1.81.
Sadly, we didn't gain any ground on the teams ahead of us and it looks highly probable that we'll still end the season in the bottom two.

got thumped today by 140 or so on flat/humid, but opponents were very strong, and I'm pleased to be rating nearly 215K with a team average age of 25 and no-one older than 28, definitely positive signs for the future

I imagine I'll win as I'm playing against such a weak team!

End of over 15 (11 runs) - Ruff Royals(94-1) RR 6.27
In a perfect position to collapse, I'd say. 50 for Mills was very handy.

I'm surprised you're even bothering to follow the game to be fair

You're not going to end up with the worst score though.

Very happy and surprised with this total in these conditions.
Plus someone was trying to avoid buying a second jug

We got a decent score but they'll probably knock it off in 12 overs.

R. Schneider (rm) 1-0-12-0, S. Campbell 17 (6b), G. Clarke 12 (6b)
End of over 2 (12 runs) - Gold Prospectors X1(29-0). 100 runs required from 18 overs. RR 14.50 RRR 5.56
We dropped Campbell when he was on 6.
The plan is going perfectly so far. When we think they're complacent enough we're going to spring the trap and get 10 wickets for only about 20 runs.

This doesn't seem like a slow pitch! I think it's time for the planned collapse to happen.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
Slow pitch and we still need points to make sure we stay up although we are 12 points clear. Our opponents Grange XI are chasing the title and are only 2 points behind top spot.
They won the toss and decided to bat first which I was okay with.
P. Callaway (rfs) 4-0-13-2, A. Ghauri 15 (15b), R. Crosling 1 (1b)
End of over 16 (2 runs) - Grange XI(92-5) RR 5.75
In the balance at the moment, although maybe we're slight favourites.

Finished up 133 for 5, will take that total but no sure we can defend it with our attack.
