B. Friend (rfs) 10-0-70-2, S. Hodges 18 (20b), C. Paton 41 (31b)
End of over 50 (11 runs) - Ruff Royals(272-6) RR 5.44

Can't complain about that total (unless it's not enough!). Over to the bowlers to complete the job.
E. Ndlovu (lm) 10-0-72-3, S. Payne 1 (1b), E. Peden 13 (12b)
End of over 50 (5 runs) - wolfberries(284-8) RR 5.68

Neither can I , I think we both should have enough.

Fingers crossed.
284 should be enough, especially if you can get off to a good start with the ball or at least cause them problems with the run rate.

End of over 10 (8 runs) - Ffoh(42-1). 231 runs required from 40 overs. RR 4.20 RRR 5.78

Could do with another wicket or two soon.

It's almost over now and it's gone very much in our favour. 3 wickets in a maiden over from Hodges certainly helped; it was a pretty good game for my 22-year-old spin allrounder.

S. Hodges (rfs) 10-2-35-4, B. Friend 0 (2b), S. Nathanielsz 0 (2b)
End of over 37 (4 runs) - Ffoh(140-9). 133 runs required from 13 overs. RR 3.78 RRR 10.23

And I've helped Topmen in the title race too.

Ruff Royals won by 128 runs.

Ffoh Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 13,991 13,809
Batting - Middle Order 11,903 11,706
Batting - Tail 6,747 4,455
Bowling - Seam 13,658 (30) 12,046 (20)
Bowling - Spin 12,030 (20) 12,215 (30)
Fielding/Keeping 16,270 16,441
Overall 237,664 225,485

A great win for my side and it was largely down to a 50 from Bass and a magnificent 98 for Bowers although there was luck on our side with a few dropped chances.

The negative is that it looks like Gavs Boys could win too (18 runs needed in 7 overs with 2 wickets remaining) so it would pretty much all be for nothing.

Match tied by Gavs Boys. The 14 run last wicket stand means that they tie which might be as bad as them winning. We play them next week in a must win game.

We might be able to survive by winning 2 of the last 3 games but I suspect we might need to win all 3.

super strong team we were up against, and no disgrace in a 5 wicket loss. Gave a lot of our backup bowlers a game to boost experience, so overall pretty happy with how we did.

Important game and it's going to be tough especially when you drop a player twice in two balls (first from a reliable fielder, second only capable).

End of over 12 (11 runs) - wolfberries(72-1) RR 6.00

Could definitely do with more wickets.

Not as many as I would have liked but will take it.

Medium pace bowler Lord really is the key for us here.

Gives my side a chance considering some pretty poor fielding. We didn't want to get Haynes out for some reason.

End of over 5 (2 runs) - Ruff Royals(17-1). 102 runs required from 15 overs. RR 3.40 RRR 6.80

Lord looks a lot better than all my bowlers; I'm glad he's only got one over left!

Lord is easily our stand out player in the squad currently.

S. Holland (rws) 2-0-9-0, A. Clarke 5 (11b), A. Evans 28 (33b)
End of over 9 (6 runs) - Ruff Royals(36-1). 83 runs required from 11 overs. RR 4.00 RRR 7.55

Seems quite even at the moment.

Well the game is basically over now, lack of wickets has allowed your batsmen to tee off.

Forty nine runs in the last four overs.

Evans is continuing a pretty good season. I don't think I've had a player perform so badly for all his previous seasons and then have such a fine season. I think his average was well below 20 before this season (he must have been struggling to have an average in double figures).

End of over 13 (15 runs) - Ruff Royals(85-1). 34 runs required from 7 overs. RR 6.54 RRR 4.86

I'd be disappointed to lose from here.
