Batting - Top Order 11,759 11,718

Fielding/Keeping 14,230 15,345
Overall 205,104 219,668

Thumping win today by 121 runs, one of the best performances we've had for a while. All bats contributing with runs, and all bowlers picking up at least 1 wicket ... a good day in the office for sure. 5th week in a row our ratings have risen as well which is pleasing :)

Interesting mix of rating there but in the end your better quality spinners were the difference.

Well done.

Thanks. Callaway is by far my best spinner (world class summary) and probably inflates my spin ratings somewhat. I was a little surprised by Hodges' performance as he's only spectacular summary although he's not done too badly when he's had the chance.

Fortunately, my side managed to take advantage of Lyon which released any pressure that might have been building at times.

I'm still only 2 points clear of Bathaloner so I really need to make sure I get knocked out of the MKMC so I can attempt to maintain my promotion challenge.

I accidentally decided to bat first after forgetting it was T20. :doh

We got off to a terrible start on green and were 52-4 after 9.2 overs. Thankfully, Hicks and Ingram came together and did great. Hicks, on a rare start, made 40 not out from 29 balls and Ingram 54 from 34 balls.

The bowling's going okay at the moment but if they do what we did then we can still lose this game.

Always good to get a win on an international week. Admittedly, I've only got 1 player away so it wasn't too bad this week anyway.

14.5 W Houston to Coombes : [catch] Tossed up on the stumps and Coombes slogs across the line. The ball clips the leading edge and balloons up towards mid-off.L. Coombes c M. Lowe b. E. Houston 2 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:100.00
14.4 2 Houston to Coombes : [misfield] Coombes swats it out to the boundary. Allanson runs around to gather, but stumbles as he picks up the ball, allowing the batsmen to pick up an extra run
14.3 W Houston to Gregg : [catch] A perfect shot against an off-break there. Unfortunately for Gregg that wasn't an off-break! Houston and Latham are celebrating as Gregg trudges back to the pavilion.T. Gregg c D. Latham b. E. Houston 29 (30b 2x4 1x6) SR:96.67
14.2 W Houston to Gardiner : [catch] Gone! You don't get many easier catches than these as it is dollied up to mid-off, Gardiner is distraught walking off and I wouldn't want to get in his way back to the changing rooms.T. Gardiner c C. Drebbel b. E. Houston 32 (37b 1x4 0x6) SR:86.49

Well that hasn't helped!

Better than what I got in the same conditions.

58 from Bass was the best for my lot. Should be difficult to defend but not impossible.

We need to keep the pressure on.

I was going fine then those 4 wickets in 4 overs has screwed me.
De Gea my last hope.

Thanks. I was getting worried about De Gea so I was happy to get him out any way we could. My side didn't get off to the best of starts with my best seamer not taking any wickets but luckily my spinners did the job.

Ruff Royals Nottm Outlaws XI
Batting - Top Order 13,629 14,493

Overall 220,813 239,740

Ruff Royals won by 13 runs

That was a blow to the Outlaws title hopes but a big boost for my survival chances especially with Pedagogs losing. 8 points clear of the relegation zone.
