It has gone quite well. Avila hit 69 and Brown had 120 not out. I'm really glad I kept Brown as I was considering selling him or firing him to make way for younger players.

Won the toss on Flat/Sunny and opted to bat first. Hit 339/7 in our 50 which I think is maybe a tad over par. Started well with the ball, opps 47/3 from 11, seems like the strongest side Pedagogs have put out for a while though and with their middle order strength the game's still very much in the balance.

End of over 21 (2 runs) - gRhyllidae(82-3). 180 runs required from 29 overs. RR 3.90 RRR 6.21
A decent start to the bowling although we've dropped some chances that we probably should have taken.

got to be favourites now, especially with our OBB still to come into the attack. Hopefully we can keep it tight and start to apply some run rate pressure.

It's been a bit tough to take wickets but with the RRR there's every chance that they'll collapse at some point.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
Brilliant performance today win by 80 runs. Super interesting league both in terms of promotion and relegation. These last two wins have certainly made me more optimistic than I was but still a long long way to go

Not the best bowling performance but a great batting display especially from Brown with his 120 not out.
Still only 2 points clear at the top and we play Bathaloner next week so we should either be 2 points behind after that or 6 points ahead.

2.1 W Sirisena to Holland : [catch] Got him! Poor shot from Holland after the ball was full and on legside. He tried to flick it through midwicket but only succeeded in firing it straight to the strategically placed Harford at backward square leg.S. Holland c L. Harford b. S.
