Thanks to a very strong 7th wicket partnership between Lodge & van Ryneveld we have managed to post a sound 170 on Crumbling/Windy. It was about time Lodge did something useful with the bat. However, we did get quite fortunate with van Ryneveld's performance today.

An interesting second innings awaits. We're definitely over par but the score is chasable.

Frustrating loss - not much you can do when a 30k finisher takes the game away from you. Hopefully, we can put it right tomorrow.

2203 really would be impressive. Our 222 still decent. Scotlands run rate is good so we need wickets (currently 81/4 after 17 overs).

Thankfully, we managed to get those wickets in the end. Far closer than what you would usually expect but that's cricket & FTP.

Zimbabwe's season has finished. We will look to use the remaining friendlies to play younger players - the match ratings in those fixtures should give us a better idea of the strength of the younger contingent.

I will be running for election, so until the elections open, I will have nothing more to say.
