Very disappointing after such a good start with that bat. I think that means any faint hopes of an unlikely title have been put to bed and I can concentrate on survival and giving my younger players a chance.

We were put into bat on an uneven pitch and it couldn't have gone much better. A great innings by House and it was more than double his previous best score.

Looks like The Middle Stump Lubricators are playing a young team with two 16-year-olds. We've got a batter, a bowler, and an allrounder on international duty so this has gone better than I had expected.
