Happy with that win but I would have been unhappy if I had lost when they only played one spinner on hot/dry. Having said that I would normally have batted first but forgot to change my toss decision.

73 from Liberatore and 84 for Avila in a big 150+ run partnership was the crucial factor in our batting.

12 points clear of the relegation zone so it's looking more likely we'll be fine this season.

excellent performance today, especially with the bat. Result: won by 75 runs.

surprised Relegation Reprobates are struggling as much as they are with their 240K ratings, but a 16 point gap with 5 games to go surely sees us safe for another season. Camberwell Carrot's first loss of the season has made things interesting in terms of the title race, but we'll probably have to win all 5 remaining games to be in with a shot.

17.2 1 Hartigan to Pavy : [dropped] I can't believe it's not butter on Chittleborough's fingers. That was a simple catch and Chittleborough grassed it. Hartigan doesn't look very impressed.
18.4 2 Martel to Sarkar : [dropped] Sarkar's not got onto that as well as he'd hoped. Chittleborough is out in the deep and it goes down! Oh dear... and if it could get any worse for Martel there's 2 runs more to the score.

I'm safe this season so don't really mind what happens from now on. Mills moved up to my senior side and I didn't pick one of my better bowlers to give others experience.

It was a flat pitch so the bowling was pretty bad. Hicks scored 117 from 57 balls and Schneider 42 not out from 25 balls.
