I love having one as it's not just another team but the ability to play the game in two completely different ways.GM-crowfan65 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 11:44 amI will add to this and say members numbers are still very strong around 40%
And affiliates, whilst down from their high, still sit at 28% of managers have an affiliate
The game is still going strong on that side of things

bizarre comment. I didn't mention survival.wolfberries wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 6:39 pmI like the saved players idea, after all cheap to sell but also cheap to buy.
If teams need to sell players to survive, maybe they could live within their means.
are you suggesting no one should sell players for financial gain?

Accounts closed at the top are the multiple teams and caught cheating accounts.
41 are in some part managers that have left the game, but, and this is a big but, we have seen an increase in teams turning bot in the last week or so and I’m sure that it’s no coincidence that, the 50 day mark since i announced I was on the hunt and gave managers a chance to hand themselves in has come and gone, and I’m sure it’s not a coincidence that a number of the accounts that have gone bot were on my “List” and I may or may not have been sniffing around them in the weeks leading to the amnesty.
It seems a number of managers thought it best to just close shop and walk away, and I expect more are doing/will do the same in the coming weeks.
That seems a reasonable supposition if that's the timeframe
And along the lines of what crowy posted- out of interest did you ban anyone running multiple paid member accounts?

Not really necessary as you can go to the oldest/newest managers page as see them, but I don’t mind adding them at the end of the report.Madcarrot wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 1:38 pmOn the monthly summary page that we just got a news item for, there is a category for teams that have gone bot and teams that have been shut down by managers request.
Can you include an extra line that shows new teams as well?
I know it's not really related to what you're trying to show I just thought it would be interesting to have those 2 numbers next to each other.
I will get to it when I can as I’m a little busy today.

Oh can just do it next time and if it's annoying don't worry about it.
I just thought it would be interesting to see if the new teams was higher or lower than the bot teams generally.

The numbers will be reduced in time as the criteria for being saved will be adjusted.
Please don’t ask when or what the criteria will be as it’s still being discussed.

I don’t mind doing it as a reference point as last month and this month will have slightly higher bot numbers due to captain’s being to scared to go down with there ship’s.
And just a side note, it will be hard sometimes to draw comparisons as just like every online game, people sign up and sometimes disappear after a very short time, so some of the new managers in the EOS summary’s will also turn bot in the same season.

I'm going to confess I would have long attempted to add extra managers had it not been for the whole affiliate system. Now instead of cheating, I pay every year to not cheat :O this is social engineering
I am idiot
