Re: England League and Cup Discussion
P. Southorn (rf) 10-1-51-1, S. Hodges 2 (9b), B. Issa 10 (15b)
End of over 40 (2 runs) - Ruff Royals(189-5). 44 runs required from 10 overs. RR 4.72 RRR 4.40
Nerve-wracking stuff at the moment but I feel like we're not going to do it. Hodges is my only allrounder and Issa is a batsmen so basically these two need to do it.
Edit: Hodges got out just after posting this.

A close game on a slow pitch but a couple of my spinners really took some punishment. I'm still top of the league but my best bowler has played his last YT20 game for me so it's downhill all the way now.
It was a nice 53 from 38 balls for House and 17-year-old Patterson hit his best score of 37 from 29 balls.

Green pitch and we were made to bat first. It turned out pretty good. Avila got us off to a fast start with 30 from 17 balls. Liberatore then got 35 from 24 balls whilst Paton got 43 not out from 31 balls as we made 173 for 6.
The bowling wasn't particularly great in that we only took 2 wickets but they didn't score quickly enough so it wasn't a problem.

Slow pitch so I'm happy with that total but whether it's enough for my bowlers to defend is another matter.
House got 67 and a few others helped out with 20+ scores.

We could do with some wickets and the bowlers are starting to leak too many runs. Rush not having the best of games in his final youth appearance.
