Bullock finally gets his 50 which he must have really wanted because he was taking an age to get there. Up until the last over, where he scored 6 runs, he had gone 20 balls and only picked up 5 runs.

A decent score, I guess, but I can't help feeling like this pitch is a batsman's paradise. Will Bullocks slow going cost us or was his anchoring of the innings a smart thing to do? I'm not going to blame the 16-year-old too much whatever happens.

A wicket falling on the final ball before the break slightly moves things in our favour. We were 85-1 so it's the wickets that are the main difference. We need to keep picking up wickets.

Hazare dropped on 10 and that could be telling. We were 137-1 at the same stage so it looks like we'll need to bowl them out as I'm not sure we can get the run rate under control.

I'm not sure how I feel about this result. They're bottom of the league and pick up there first points of the season so I guess I'm disappointed. However, the overall ratings are even and we could have quite easily lost it at the end.

Bullock hit a personal best of 60 and House scored 61 but all of our batters who got out to the middle contributed. Westerveld was the best of our bowlers with 3-43 although Mark Patterson was the most economical but went wicketless.

Okay, I guess. We made a slow start and then recovered a bit. However, I've taken a bit of a risk and rested my best keeper so our batting line-up isn't quite as strong and we might struggle more than normal to take wickets. He needed a rest though and, at the moment, we're looking more precarious in T20 than in SOD so he can play then.
