C. Moses (rws) 1-0-3-0, D. Angus 6 (9b), B. Weerasinghe 30 (59b)
End of over 17 (3 runs) - Camberwell Carrots(60-2). 172 runs required from 33 overs. RR 3.53 RRR 5.21
We need more wickets. They'll chase this easily otherwise.

End of over 39 (3 runs) - Camberwell Carrots(129-7). 103 runs required from 11 overs. RR 3.31 RRR 9.36
This has certainly turned in our favour now. We need to make sure Mullings doesn't farm the strike too much.

Bowling - Spin 13,789 (30) 10,906 (30)
Fielding/Keeping 16,002 14,201
Overall 223,631 202,049
I'm very happy with that especially after resting Paton and giving Clarke a chance behind the stumps.
92 for Liberatore was key and the bowlers did well. Hodges finished with 3-20 but Ten Dam and Moses also picked up 3 wickets each.
Topmen beat Inchigeela Angels too so that means we're out on our own at the top.

by far our best game of the season, picking up our first points at the 4th attempt. a solid effort with the bat, with 5 of them hitting at least 20, and Mitchell top scoring with 52. And then all bowlers picking up at least one wicket which is nice, Gootjes the pick with 3-29 from 8, including one with his bouncer talent. A big swing happened in the match happened the very first ball when our opener was dropped, and then went on to hit 48, but I think we deserve some luck after recent weeks.
fatigue is going to be a big problem now, and I might have to consider chucking either the PC/T20/SOD game ... but we'll see

Fielding/Keeping 8,908 5,685
Overall 117,262 116,920
A big win and fairly comfortable once the spinners came on. The big difference between the two sides appears to have been the fielding judging by those ratings (and us playing more spinners on a dry pitch).
House and Dotson were the stars with the bat. Westerveld did well with the ball (3-25) but Bruce was brilliant taking 4 wickets from his 4 overs and only conceding 3 runs!
We're still top which is something that can't last too much longer considering our match ratings.

Home today in Humid and Slow conditions , lost the toss and batted first
Ended up 145 for 3.
Only scored 18 runs from the last three overs today, struggling to find a way over increasing end of innings runs.
Our opponents consistently twat our bowlers all over the CENSORED place at the end, so not sure what the issue is!

We decided to bowl first.
It went from this:

End of over 17 (8 runs) - Topmen(114-2) RR 6.71

End of over 20 (10 runs) - Topmen(162-3) RR 8.10
So just the 48 runs in the last 3 overs! I think we're going to struggle and we might be in the relegation zone by the end of the day.

So they scored 48 from their last 3 overs and we scored 24. We had 8 wickets in hand going into the last 3 overs too and the ratings make it worse. We should be doing it when needing 14 runs from the last 2 overs.
Only consolation is that we just about manage to stay out of the relegation zone.

D. Anderson (rf) 8-0-40-2, D. Combs 2 (4b), M. Patterson 16 (12b)
End of over 40 (9 runs) - Ruff Royals(197-9) RR 4.92
Hard pitch so I consider this a very poor batting effort. We've given our bowlers no chance. 45 from Alphonso Patterson was the only decent attempt for my batters.
B. Gardiner (rws) 4-0-23-0, K. Jagath 9 (15b), R. Betts 45 (59b)
End of over 19 (5 runs) - Inchigeela Angels(95-3). 103 runs required from 21 overs. RR 5.00 RRR 4.90
There were a couple of early wickets for Combs but we're not going to be able to bowl them out and they're not going to have a problem with their run rate.
