End of over 14 (5 runs) - UAE U20(78-3) RR 5.57
Going a bit slow I think, wanted 140

E. Chimbetu (rws) 4-0-26-0, M. Aziz 17 (11b), R. Ibraheem 38 (18b)
End of over 20 (11 runs) - UAE U20(139-5) RR 6.95
Awesome hitting from Ibraheem and a lot of misfields (4 boundaries in the last 2 overs) get us to a decent score

P. Galvez (rm) 3-0-19-0, R. Esterhuizen 52 (47b), M. Perrin 4 (7b)
End of over 18 (5 runs) - Zimbabwe U20(118-3). 22 runs required from 2 overs. RR 6.56 RRR 11.00
Fielding not kind to us either with 4 drops so far. Going to the wire here

19.63Galvez to Perrin : [missed runout] Perrin plays a cover drive towards the boundary. Ibraheem gathers the ball but the return is wide of the stumps and the batsmen just scrape home

Try having 7 on tour and losing titlesExquisiteblue wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 4:12 pmStill unbeaten and in a quality position though! I might buy every youth UAE NT on market. Love having em play parts in these games.
2 left and now time to cement that top spot!

But yeah, still looking good. A win would've all but sealed promotion, but we can still do that with a win tomorrow and a loss for England or Zimbabwe

Re: UAE U20 - News & Discussion
That's very disappointing. 4 drops meant they had a chance to win it and then a missed run out on the last ball to tie. We rated higher in fielding too.
I guess if we aren't losing games like this, then it's a good sign.

M. Qutab (rws) 1-0-7-0, J. Fattah 19 (18b), A. Ata 8 (12b)
End of over 5 (7 runs) - UAE U20(32-0) RR 6.40
A. Shariq (lfs) 2-0-13-2, R. Salih 9 (4b), N. Abdulah 1 (2b)
End of over 8 (9 runs) - UAE U20(49-4) RR 6.12
Another example of good start on a crumbler = bad news

S. Moiz (rm) 4-0-24-1, N. Ommar 33 (25b), Y. Hadad 1 (2b)
End of over 20 (6 runs) - UAE U20(118-8) RR 5.90
Ommar carries us to a slightly sub-par score. Can see this one going to the wire too, we don't do t20 blowouts

Re: UAE U20 - News & Discussion
Another good bowling performance. We tried to even things up with a couple of key misfields but we got over the line.
Somehow we're undefeated after 4 games and still need a win tomorrow for promotion. A loss will likely see us slip to third

A nervous win but a win none the less. Need to finish with a win tomorrow to guarantee top of the tour and the promotion.
Apologies for no Zimbabwe match write up just yet. I’ll get these last two matches written up tonight.
