Galvez got knocked over the first ball of the innings. Some sloppy Zimbabwe fielding (4 misfields and a drop) saw us sneak to 139 runs. 2 drops and a misfield of our own saw Zimbabwe given a chance to stay in the game. 4 runs required off the last saw Zimbabwe barely scrape through for the third and tie the game.

Death bowling sees us defend 20 runs from the final 3 overs to give us a hot chance at promotion.

Going into the final day, three nations must become two promotion spots.

A win or a draw against England will guarantee us the promotion. Should we lose, we will want it to be a small lose and then have to hope Zimbabwe don't beat Pakistan by a lot! Let's make it simple and beat England!

Our best:

Nazmi Abdulah - 46 unbeaten including a four and two big bombs! Then backed it up with 1/22 off his 4 overs. Coming in at 4/45 after 3 wickets in an over didn’t phase Abdulah as he buckled in and got the lads to 134, which proved to be just enough to get another tight win!!

Wraps up a wonderful tour for Abdulah, eight wickets (second best for the tour) and 75 runs (top 20 for the tour) saw him finish with 344 fantasy points (third best for the tour). He also snagged a catch in the field. Also I’m a Big fan of the fact he snuck home to play a friendly match on Wednesday of the tour!

Shareef and Hadad our other big performers. Shareef with 6 wickets in his 3 matches and Hadad with 5 wickets and 2 catches from his 3 appearances.

Not going to lie we’ve gotten the good side of the lottery this week! Tight wins and a draw see us secure the tour win and the ultimate promotion to the big time. Div 1 next tour! Let’s go run a riot up with the big boys!!!

Around the grounds:
Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 5 runs.

Canada beat India by 4 runs.

3 very tight matches yesterday.

Funnily enough last nights match didn’t matter in the greater scheme as Zimbabwe didn’t win to put the pressure on the top two.

England also promote with their 3 wins and 2 losses.

Zimbabwe finish 3rd with the draw keeping them above Pakistan and Canada who both finished with 2 wins.

India will join Canada with the trip to div 3 only managing one win for the week.
