A crucial win against the top side that moves us out of the relegation zone on NRR. I get the feeling we're going to have to win again next week against a relegation rival (Snakey's Kent Stars).

The bowling was quite good seeing as the conditions didn't really suit us. Bruce with 2-32 had the best figures but everyone made a contribution. Bullock made a handy 37 to help blunt their attack but it was House's 107 not out that really saw us home. Schmidt also made 41.

Lost the toss and batted first in uneven/humid, although I would have batted anyway. Our opener did magnificently with an unbeaten 125, ably supported by other contributions of 41, 31 and 31 not out in a decent total of 255/5. Our bowling has been very hit and miss this season, so we'll need to bowl well to defend this, but pretty happy at this point. Opps 26/1 after 7.

excellent performance today, would have been a nervy last day with a loss, but with a win it gives us a chance of 2nd place! Been a strange season with one team dominating and no one else able to string a consistent set of results together.
