Ruff Royals won by 7 wickets
We were desperate for a win to boost our chances of staying in the division and we got it.
It all started well as we had them at 54-4 but they got back in it and ended up reaching 120. That still seemed in our favour but we got off to a slowish start and the RRR had crept up to 7.71 with 7 overs to go. Fortunately, the next over went for 16 runs largely thanks to House which eased the pressure considerably and we finally won with 4 balls to spare.
Gardiner was the best bowler for us with 1-17 and Dickerson was the best bat with 45 runs from 46 balls.

away up in Yorkshire in overcast/crumbling. Fatigue a bit of an issue so the team is mostly backup seniors and a few youths stuck in there as well. Fully expecting to lose the game, probably gonna rate around the 180-190K mark I'd imagine. 10 overs in, opps 75/2, an ominous start.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
Well I have just had a decent result!
Having been skittled out for 92 by Topman I was fully expecting a thumping loss having left out my main strike bowler- Shows you how much I know: 9 quick wickets to my two RM's and I have just somehow pulled off a 34 run win

Not the greatest start to the bowling but then we really turned things around with Callaway getting 4-19, Moses 3-26, and Hodges 2-30. We weren't great with the bat but Issa was brilliant and ended 51 not out from 35 balls to secure our first win of the season in this league.

Overall 92,321 121,520
A comprehensive win. We bowled first and it started very well with them being at 35-5 and later 80-7. They did recover 167-8 though so there was still a bit of work for the batters.
The batters had very little trouble though with an opening stand of 97. Bullock hit 46 and Nirmala Laurence, who has been desperate to get a game, scored 50 on debut at the age of 17 and 1 week. Alphonso Patterson also added 40 not out and we won with 11 overs to spare.

tough game today against @spark. won the toss and having a bat on overcast/sticky, not the greatest start at 15/3 after 5.2 overs, somewhat recovered since but still struggling at 71/4 at drinks.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
It would have been good if we could catch the ball; 3 drops in the last few overs and 2 of those were my keeper. It hasn't helped that I seem to have mistakenly got Perry to bowl 8 overs before the break rather than 6 and Roberson was supposed to bowl more before the break instead.

I think this is getting towards being too much for us to chase.

Re: England League and Cup Discussion
wtf is going on with your fielding today!! 6 drops for a team rating high 16K/17K is unbelievable bad luck. 183/10 I'll take for sure, very fortunate. Still within reach for you though, will be a close one!
