Ruff Royals won by 7 wickets

We were desperate for a win to boost our chances of staying in the division and we got it.

It all started well as we had them at 54-4 but they got back in it and ended up reaching 120. That still seemed in our favour but we got off to a slowish start and the RRR had crept up to 7.71 with 7 overs to go. Fortunately, the next over went for 16 runs largely thanks to House which eased the pressure considerably and we finally won with 4 balls to spare.

Gardiner was the best bowler for us with 1-17 and Dickerson was the best bat with 45 runs from 46 balls.

Ruff Royals won by 6 wickets

Not the greatest start to the bowling but then we really turned things around with Callaway getting 4-19, Moses 3-26, and Hodges 2-30. We weren't great with the bat but Issa was brilliant and ended 51 not out from 35 balls to secure our first win of the season in this league.

A comprehensive win. We bowled first and it started very well with them being at 35-5 and later 80-7. They did recover 167-8 though so there was still a bit of work for the batters.

The batters had very little trouble though with an opening stand of 97. Bullock hit 46 and Nirmala Laurence, who has been desperate to get a game, scored 50 on debut at the age of 17 and 1 week. Alphonso Patterson also added 40 not out and we won with 11 overs to spare.

It would have been good if we could catch the ball; 3 drops in the last few overs and 2 of those were my keeper. It hasn't helped that I seem to have mistakenly got Perry to bowl 8 overs before the break rather than 6 and Roberson was supposed to bowl more before the break instead.
