Flat pitch and I was worried when they managed 283-3, especially as my keeper dropped some chances.

I need not have been concerned as an opening partnership of 181 got us well on our way. We only lost the one wicket in the shape of Banerjee for 84. Dickerson just got his half century (51 not out from 27 balls) and Bullock started off the season in style with 148 not out from 112 balls.
