With us already promoted and lord away with England, I decided to still pretty much go full out for the win, as we didn't want to lower our ranking too much.

A comprehensive defeat. We could have done with some big overs from the batters but 127 was no disgrace. However, Delap and Passailaigue really let the side down with their bowling. Luckily, there's nothing really to play for during the rest of the season.

Fielding/Keeping 17,352 16,559
Overall 245,354 244,706
I was a bit worried after the first over went for 14 but we came back nicely on this dry pitch. We ended up bowling them out for 104. Roberson and Moses both took 3-17 whilst Hodges got 2-8 from 3 overs.
The batting wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked as we regularly lost wickets. We got the win though.
I'm one of three teams who are level on points at the top of the league.

Just feels like you get punished for picking the logical tactics. Sunny / Green and their mediocre spinner takes 5/22!!!!!

Date 20 Oct 22 10:00
Crowd 6,208

Pitch Slow
It's a crucial game at the top of the league. If I lose I have pretty much no chance of promotion. I'm going to be up against it with my best spinner on international duty (I don't have the best strength in depth in my bowling unit) and none of the opposition missing.
S. McCann (rf) 8-2-24-5, T. Zondeki 3 (1b)
End of over 31 (4 runs) - Ruff Royals(108-10) RR 3.48
It could not have gone much worse. Dickerson made 47 but the rest of the batters were abysmal. Not really sure what happened there and it's very disappointing.
O. Delap (lfs) 1-0-6-0, G. Whelan 12 (23b), P. Gallen 24 (31b)
End of over 9 (6 runs) - Dunbrody Academy London(38-0). 71 runs required from 31 overs. RR 4.22 RRR 2.29
A bowling miracle for us is not going to happen.
