Match 4 v Scotlandepcguy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 1:43 pmMatch 1 v Kenya
A great all round team performance where everyone pitched in to win by 38 runs. Our batsmen certainly turned up with 3 half centuries from Masingata (62), Mutizwa (71), Grobelaar (56) and Dolman could have joined them if he hadnt got excited when on 49.
All our bowlers were miserly but our fasties ripped them apart with Krog taking 4 for 40.
A good start
Match 2 v Bangladesh
A fantastic victory by 89 runs with 101 opening stand between Dolman (46) and Vanderplank with a century (obviously been well trained by his manager). We struggled to get another partnership going but it all adds up.
Once again our bowlers were miserly, Arubi taking 4 for 39.
Not getting carried away, we have been here before so taking every game as it comes
Match 3 v Bermuda
What a demolition...amazing winning by 256 runs.
Another fantastic opening partnership of 88 between Bowley (43) and Masingata (140) set us on our way and by the time Gorringe was Run out for 47 we were 191-2. Whitty(46) and F Kamungozi (51) finished with an unbeaten partnership of 91. Superb.. and then to cap the day off our bowlers then despatched Bermuda for 97, Baloyi taking 5 for 16 and Krog devastating again with 3 for 25. As well as a great batting performance our Keeper F Kamungozi took 4 catches, fantastic performance.
In a very strong position now for promotion but still 2 hard games to come.
Thanks for your support gents... means alotCjackson94 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 4:44 pmCongrats on the promotion guys, great tour again.
