Re: Sri Lanka U20 National Discussions
Sorry for the lack of posts/contact, it's been a horrendous year.
On the other hand, it would appear personal growth leads to FTP growth as we've won the World Cup.
Total team effort with Chezz, he sparked the new orders we've been using the last couple of OD tours and the tactics in this World Cup.
Will add some more in another post later, but just to say thanks to all who produced players in this extended squad. This was the first time we've had to make hard decisions over selection which was an amazing problem to have just before the Cup.
I was (very) quietly confident before the cup started, but I can't really believe we've done it, keep checking the scorecard to make sure
Thanks again for all the support and great players.

Re: Sri Lanka U20 National Discussions
I decided to run for the SL U20. I was not keen to be honest, I am quite busy in RL, but no other experienced managers seem to be running for us.
If one of you other guys is keen I'm happy to step aside and withdraw.
If not, I'll do my best for us to go back to back

Nice one Chezza, I guess Tim wanted to sign off on a high note.Chezza wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 11:37 amI decided to run for the SL U20. I was not keen to be honest, I am quite busy in RL, but no other experienced managers seem to be running for us.

Thanks Paul! Tim's definitely moved on at the right time I think. Probably another 24 seasons until we win one haha. But good for us he's staying on assistant, along with Summit returning which is fantastic.paulc wrote:

Looking forward to the next chapter of the Sri Lankan under 20s journey. Short term our talent looks very thin, but medium to long term looks ok. If anyone has any questions on their player I'm always happy to offer suggestions or thoughts on whether a player is likely to play nats.
Thanks again to everyone who pulls and trains Sri Lankan, hopefully we can continue to do the community proud!

Re: Sri Lanka U20 National Discussions
He's looking great. Fantastic player! Reliable summary bat at 18.0 with good secondaries. Still a while off nats (would need to be at expert bat summary). But he's so far ahead of most at his age that I'd say at the current training rate he'd be in the squad in one season.TheOneDwade wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:30 amHi all,
was just wondering how this guy would be tracking in terms of the NAT scene
