A bit disappointed with this result on a hard pitch. My bowler who was probably most suited to the conditions did the worst and the best economy was by my spinner Wheeler with 2-19. 162 to win.
We only needed 8 an over for the last 3 overs with 5 wickets left. Then just 6 an over with 2 overs left and 4 wickets remaining. We couldn't see it over the line losing 2 wickets in those 2 overs and only scoring 9 runs.
Only 4 points clear with 4 games to go. I'll be losing my best batsmen next week albeit he got out for a first ball duck today and Wheeler won't be around for long now so I'm not fancying my chances of staying top.

It was a tough game but we managed to just get there. 171 to win on a flat pitch was a decent effort from the bowlers but could have gone either way. Rush was the best with 2-26. We didn't start off great and the RRR was a problem. Clarke hit 33, Liberatore 49 not out from 29 balls, and McCall top scored with an excellent 74 not out from 55 balls.
That win pretty much secures my place in the league for next season.

Fielding/Keeping 15,888 16,957
Overall 221,376 248,006
Lost the toss and had a bowl on sticky/overcast. Opps innings never really got going and they limped to 77/8 in their 20. Even with my best two bats being rested such a low target was never likely to be a problem, and we knocked the runs off in 13.1 overs with 7 wickets in hand. A rather unexpected win, and that confirms our survival for next season
. Hopefully we can keep our good form up and get in the prize money spots!

Bowled them out for 102 on a sticky pitch. Wheeler took 5-25. Durham scored 30 for us which was our top score as it was moderately comfortable chase considering the pitch.

End of over 50 (3 runs) - Ffoh(168-10) RR 3.36
The start and finish were really good for us but the middle not so much. We reduced them to 44-4, they recovered to 142-4 and then they were all out for 168.
A slow pitch so overall we've done alright but I don't really trust my batsmen to chase anything successfully.

A big ratings advantage so it was one we should have won. It was a crucial bottom of the table clash. Schneider had the best figures for our bowlers with 3-27. McCall (40 runs) and Liberatore (71) were the stars with the bat.
I'm still in the relegation zone albeit now only on NRR but I do have the top 4 teams to play so it's going to be tough to stay up.

I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't quite do it here after reducing them to 75-6 in their chase for 122 to win. We possibly scored a bit slowly towards the end of our innings too.
A win here and we might have clung on to top spot at the end of the season. We're still 4 points ahead but I'll lose a couple of players to international duty next week and I can't see us winning that game.
Edit: We aren't 4 points ahead: we're level. Obviously, wishful thinking on my part!
