But geez it hurts selling a 69k rater 28y 12w player for $1,000.

I really feel like the players skills are too diluted these days. Would love a complete reset of the comp so all players are randomly generated between 30-40k. 4-5 years ago a 40k player was worth $150k plus etc.

He was 59k and the sale price can vary depending on time of the season. Normally you can sell players in the off season for a better price if your happy paying there wages in the meantime.

Given the change that all players age in years and weeks, I wondered whether this is still necessary:

Youth recruits cannot be made within 3 days of the end of a season or less than 1 day after the beginning of a season.
You can recruit another youth player on Tue. 06-Jun. 00:00.

Is the Nat Managers code of conduct going to be either updated or enforced? I'm sure i heard quite a few seasons back that some changes were coming but that's all. Assistants, min squad numbers, forum activity and other expectations/requirements don't ever appear to be enforced. I cant see the Nat scene improving unless some changes are enforced.

Good question, we have let it lapse a little.
The proposed nat changes is just taking a little longer than we wanted but once sorted then a new CoC will be installed and enforced

I am playing Youth 5.16 in England and team topping the table suddenly became bot, I am wondering what happened to that team was the manager inactive for too long? And somebody already asked this here but I didnt quite get the answer, if a bot team finished top of the table can the top human team be promoted too?

Clubs go bot for a few reasons. inactivity is a common reason. The leading side in your comp now has new standard players and a human manager as this is where new managers start their career.
I'm not sure but i think if no one competes well enough to beat the bot side that it will promote if it wins the league. You have to be competitive to promote.

If a bot side finishes top of a league, then the best 7th placed human side from across the div 4 leagues (sorted by wins and then NRR) will be saved from relegation. If they're all bots/already being saved, then do the same for 8th placed sides in Div 4, and then 2nd placed sides in Div 5.

Also note that a bot located anywhere in the top 4 divisions will add to the number of human div 4 managers saved from Div 4 relegation.

You should consider transferring to another country for next season, any other except for Australia or India and avoid Div5 completely.

Maybe do the countries low on the list and recruit from them in the next few weeks.
