Egham Town CC won by 5 wickets

We didn't do too badly but I didn't think 129 would be enough even on a slow pitch. Whitehead's 58 not out was the main reason for getting that much. The bowlers got off to a great start and it wasn't until the last 5 overs that things began to go wrong. We eventually lost with 3 balls to go.

We're now 8 points from safety so it's looking pretty bleak.

We bowled them out on a green pitch for 167 with Bennett taking 4-21. Galindo scored 85 in the reply which is his best total yet; I expect him to go from strength to strength now that he is playing further up the batting order. We managed to reach a winning total with less than 30 overs bowled.

We're currently top on NRR but it is so close with 3 teams on 32 points. Huge game next week against the team in 2nd place.

lost the toss and opps chose to bat on crumbling/overcast. Our bowling wasn't great and opps got a pretty decent 188/8 in their 50. In reply we weren't helped by two runouts, but we just about scraped home with a 3 wicket win, standout performer being Richards with 65 (121). In a pretty decent position 8 points clear with 4 games to go, but got a couple of very tricky fixtures coming up away to Wolfberries next week then home against Danger Hotspurs.

Feels a long time since we won a senior T20 match where the ratings were close or in the opponents favour. A defeat would have dropped us into the relegation area, but in a very tight league anywhere between 3 and 7th is still possible.

A very pleasing and unexpected win.

It was great bowling by Rush and Schneider that got us into the position to win Patterson did well at the end too. Schmidt and Clarke saw us home with the bat with both making 36 not out.

We're still bottom of the league thanks to our bad NRR but 3 teams are on 12 points so we've got a chance. I do think that inferior NRR will ruin any chance I have of staying up.
