Dunno if he will score more runs but the next line in the rules suggests that the higher the power for the batsman the greater the chance of a higher run rate (more so in t20).FritsNL wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 1:47 pmIn the rules it states:My question:Power combines the strength and explosiveness of a player. Fast, fast medium and medium bowlers with a high power skill are occasionally able to take a wicket by using their power skill to bowl a faster delivery that may surprise the batter.
Will a batsmen make more runs playing a fm with capl power or spect power, because the ball will be bowled less fast? Or has this difference in power only impact on the chance taking the occasional wicket like stated in the rules.

Has the level of power of a seamer an impact on the number of runs a batsman scores? These 2 fm bowlers face the same batsman. One has capable power and one has spectacular power. So who has the cap or spec power?

All things being equal the higher power seamer will control the runrate better

What do you mean by controlling the run rate better. Will a batsman be able to read the line of the ball better because the ball is going slower when a similar senior fm bowler has also exceptional power.

Re: Quick Questions V4
yes.
Sort of. The batsman will have a better chance of playing and placing a good shot against a bowler with less power because their variety in pace will be less making their delivery slightly more predictable and playable.
A bowler with higher power can vary their pace more effectively and hopefully control the run rate better plus the higher powered bowler has a slightly better chance of taking a wicket with a surprise delivery.

Re: Quick Questions V4
yes it should be the other way as long as trng is the same for the two players you are comparing except for strength which trains fastest between 23-27
And no, in game performance doesnt effect development but it will effect form

Re: Quick Questions V4
To what extent does fielding effect a wicketkeeper's summary?
I've got a keeper with world class Keeping, accomplished Fielding and legendary xp who just rates world class skills summery for keeping. I say "just" because prior to his form hitting capable he was still exceptional summary.
For comparison, his bat/tech is excep/excep and he gets an elite summary as a batsman. Seems wonky to me, but if I need to be cramming some extra fielding on my keepers then so be it.

Re: Quick Questions V4
thats the million dollar question, as a rule of thumb most managers stay within 2 levels for fielding

World class power has a big impact on the batting summary. Its harder to get a keepers summary above world class. even with spectacular fielding its likely your keeper would still rate world class.Atko wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2024 2:33 pmTo what extent does fielding effect a wicketkeeper's summary?

If it helps, Tuiaki is WC/WC/WC/WC skilled power with WC fielding and legendary experience and it takes a form going up to capable to get to Elite/Elite summary
