Hi UAE fans (and lurkers),
Honoured to have been elected to take the reigns of the UAE national side. Some big shoes to fill and some lofty expectations to meet. I’ve been an assistant with the UAE for 11 seasons, but am stepping into my first managerial role at NAT level.
In the managerial shuffle, Latitude has decided to step away from his assistant role for the foreseeable future. Hoping to see him back amongst the team at some stage. Radar will continue in his role, and PB may be gone but not forgotten, as he will slide in to an assistant role (at least for a little while).
Business now turns to updating the squad, with some longtime mainstays reaching that age, and preparing for the first tour.
The discord will remain the primary location for all UAE NAT news and updates, although I will endeavour to keep the forum chugging along.
Thanks all,
Speedy

It's been a bit quiet here, apologies from both Speedy and I for not utilising the forum that much. It turns out that the holiday season saw us both be a bit busy. Our discord server has been active however, send me a message if you wish to join.

Our S60 was not as prolific as S59 (hard to match that) but UAE begin next OD cycle in Div 1, and are also Div 1 for the next T20 tour. So things are still in a good place.

The two WC performances this cycle were okay without being spectacular. 2-1-2 in T20 and 3-2 in OD, but missing the semi finals in both cases. Our wait continues.

There are also available spots as assistants in our setup. We run a tight ship with the U20s and like to be interchangeable with each other so if you just want to get into nats and aren't sure which one you prefer, we are the country to join.
