Out of curiosity, why do you think many will not accept it?

Because many will think that it is spoiling the real cricket fun but i will say that however it spoil the some what fun in rc but the short down target and the shorted down of target runs gives many more efun experience in my point of view

Is it relevent to FTP? we don't have play shortened in these games. Or am i missing something as there is something that's maybe similar done with fantasy points distribution.

No, it's not (currently) relevant to FTP since the game doesn't have rain or bad light. For DLS to be used, FTP would have to introduce weather delays, which would bring up a lot of questions. Should the delays be known in advance so managers can prepare for them, or should they happen at random? Which DLS calculation would we use, bearing in mind the real life system keeps getting updated as the game changes over time? Should it be possible for a match to be washed out without a result? What if that happened in a key match, for example, a title-deciding one or a cup final? Should there be reserve days?

I honestly think it's an interesting thought experiment but I think it's too complicated to realistically introduce to FTP at this point.
