New Players: Pitch Selection

In november 2013 an experienced manager started the topic Pitch Selection. I sometime use it myself as an aid for setting bowling- and battingorders.

A few seasons ago even pitch is added. A pitch where both bowlers and batsmen do not have an advantage. But it is not added to the topic Pitch Selection yet.

I propose admin together with some experienced managers give expert advice what to do when an even pitch is selected.

It's been over 6 seasons now and only a couple of requests for the "new players" section to be updated so it's very low in priority. I would be very surprised if it gets updated any time soon.

My basic advice is to set your strongest side and play to your strength. If your side is best at bowling then bowl first. If battings your strength - bat first.
