Hello everyone,
I am planning to start a new friendly competition called the Giant Cup. There will be three qualifying competitions, followed by a fourth and final competition.
Team Structure
There will be eight managers. Each manager will lead a group of three teams:
Competition 1: The manager’s own team in the 200+ MR category
Competition 2: One of the manager’s teammates in the 180+ MR category
Competition 3: Another teammate in the 150+ MR category
Teams below 150 MR will not be allowed to participate.
The MR of every team will be checked based on its match performances before the teams are finalized. MR will only be used for eligibility and fair team allocation. MR will not be included when calculating the competition scores.
Each of the first three competitions will have eight teams and seven rounds.
Team Allocation
As we did earlier, teams will be arranged according to their MR before being allocated to the managers.
Normally, managers would be given a choice when selecting their teammates. However, since no one is responding at the moment, I will allocate the teams fairly to each manager.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice, you are most welcome to share them before the teams are finalized.
Selection for Competition 4
After Competitions 1, 2, and 3 are completed, we will calculate the total runs scored by every team across all seven rounds.
Each manager’s overall group score will be calculated as follows:
Manager’s group score = Manager’s team runs from Competition 1 + First teammate’s team runs from Competition 2 + Second teammate’s team runs from Competition 3
This calculation will be completed for all eight manager groups.
The two manager groups with the highest combined total runs will qualify for Competition 4.
Teams will not qualify separately based only on their final position in Competition 1, 2, or 3. The combined performance of all three teams under each manager will decide who advances.
This means a manager’s group can qualify even if none of its teams finishes first according to the system, provided its combined total is among the top two.
Similarly, a team may finish first or second according to the system but may not advance if its manager’s combined group score is not among the top two.
Competition 4 – The Final
The two qualifying managers will bring their complete groups to Competition 4.
Each qualifying group will include:
The manager’s own team from Competition 1
Their teammate’s team from Competition 2
Their other teammate’s team from Competition 3
Therefore, the final competition will have:
Two managers × three teams each = six teams
Competition 4 will use the same group-scoring method.
After all final matches are completed, the result will be calculated as follows:
Final group score = Manager’s own team runs + First teammate’s team runs + Second teammate’s team runs
The manager whose three teams achieve the highest combined total runs will be declared the overall Giant Cup Champion.
Membership Prizes
The normal prizes provided by the system will remain separate from the Giant Cup group result.
The official first-place and second-place teams in Competitions 1, 2, and 3 can enjoy the memberships awarded by the system.
The official Runner-up in Competition 4 can also enjoy the memberships awarded by the system.
In addition, the overall Giant Cup-winning manager and both teammates in their group will each receive a 3 Months Pavilion Membership (also includes 20 game credits
Therefore, all three members of the winning group will receive 3 Months Pavilion Membership (also includes 20 game credits).
Most importantly, I am organizing these competitions to attract and encourage more young Indian players pull, so pls support.
Please share your suggestions. .. pls send your teams to fix this competition . Thank you..
