Evans - if you'd prefer reasonable batting, sort that first. Then bowling / bowling tech for a while
Sorzano - be a shame not to use the opener talent. If you need an AR prodigy might help but if a rfs isn't that interesting go pure bat
Dowsley - pure bat for quite some time

If he was mine I would train fielding to cap then Keeper/bat from there, you will get a field pop before he turns 21 and goes seniors so up to you, you could even be happy with reas field for now.cricfan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 9:08 pmWent for a bowler and got this guy. Is it a good idea to train him as a keeper? His talent is for getting boosts in power in matches, so a spin bowler that won't be very helpful so might as well train him as a keeper?

Depending on your academy and where spares are I’d say 8-9 weeks to get to cap field

Re: The "How to Train?" topic (part 2)
To be honest I wouldn't bother - you could pick up a better keeper on the TM for not much ££. The atrocious tech is a killer really (also atrocious power and experience doesn't help).Gvas wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 9:17 amHey guys! Recruited this keeper just now. Any tips on how to train him as a keeper as efficiently as possible (I'm conscious that he has atrocious technique) would be much appreciated.

Unless he's close to popping Keeping, I'd just go for training him as a batsman. So fielding to reliable, then Batting to reliable, then alternate fielding and batting.eagles123 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 11:07 amSouth London's Number One CC >> Orville Africa >> Details

Alternatively you could take a risk of going keeper-bat and hope for an early keeping pop.

Re: The "How to Train?" topic (part 2)
Looking at his summary, both batting and keeping are at avg while he has poor endo and ord power, I could be wrong but to me that suggests he might be on the higher side of avg keeping, so it all comes down to what do you need, if you need a keeper just throw him on keeper/bat, if not the advice above is perfect to train him up as a pure bat.casperj wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 5:33 pmUnless he's close to popping Keeping, I'd just go for training him as a batsman. If you have a top academy then AR is worth considering, get fielding to reli then AR to see what pops
If you have only a middling academy then I would consider the same but AR until bat pops then bowl/bowl tech for a while
